All IRESS FIX interfaces operate to the industry standard FIX protocol.
In-Bound
All in-bound order flow via FIX can be managed in the IOS+ OMS, regardless of source. IRESS IOS+ can receive orders from external FIX systems, and all trades can be reported in real time to the FIX client.
Out-Bound
The IOS can route orders via FIX to external systems for execution or further processing, including strategy orders and orders for a specified exchange. Focused on performance, scalability and redundancy, our FIX solutions support both the manual and automatic execution of orders.
IOS–FIX connectivity.
The IRESS FIX Engine is a fully managed FIX hub at IRESS redundant data centres. The FIX hub provides connectivity to the full IOS network, allowing clients to route IOS orders to multiple brokers or institutions in one FIX session, and alleviating the need for direct connectivity with individual participants. The FIX hub also provides connectivity to algorithm providers and US trading destinations.
